Chinese New Year 2018

Chinese New Year also known as the Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year, it’s an important Chinese festival celebrated at the start of the first calendar month. The first day of the New Year falls on the new moon around Friday, 16 February 2018. At BCIS we will be celebrating Chinese New Year by learning about Chinese culture throughout the week and dressing in traditional Chinese dress or something red on Friday 16th February. No uniform is required on this day.
