Primary School

At primary level, we offer the Cambridge Primary Curriculum framework for core subjects; English, Mathematics, and Sciences. In addition to the core subjects, students follow a supplementary curriculum shaped to best support and develop a love of learning.

Students at the Primary level will supplement their core studies with additional French, Thai, ICT, History, Geography, Art, Music, and Physical Education classes. These come from our secondary school or devoted teaching departments, easing the transition into the next stages of learning. Nevertheless, the class teacher still plays a vital role in maintaining an overview of pupils’ successes and ensuring individualised care.

Throughout primary school, student assessment is ongoing, and they evidence their understanding of key curricular objectives by completing activities and work rather than focusing on exams. This allows teachers to track pupil progression in real-time and give support and encouragement when needed.

In addition, we will offer both the Cambridge Progress Checker exams to internally assess student performance from years 3-6 and the Cambridge Checkpoint exam in the final term of year 6. These assessments will be marked externally in Cambridge, UK. Each exam series offers valuable and detailed feedback on each student’s understanding and offers personalised feedback on areas in which improvement is needed.
